Remember that time we told you to get to Known Gallery for Michael Miller’s Hip Hop photo exhibit? It was pretty rad….The print show and book signing at Known brought out quite a few of the personalities in the book and plenty of their old and new fans. Even for those who grew up seeing Miller’s images of N.W.A, Dub C, Warren G and Sir Mix A lot, it was like an introduction to the photographer himself as he’s been behind the scenes until now. 43 of Miller’s photographs were exhibited. A majority of which have never before been shown to the public. If you didn’t make it out, you’re outta luck. The photos were only at Known for the weekend. Boo. We took a couple of pics while we were there. The Fairfax crowd was in full force, with 40 ounces of Colt 45 in both hands.
